Bob runs his own export controls training and consulting business, based in Basingstoke Hampshire. He has been involved in Importing/Exporting for over 30 years, gaining experience in the roles of Freight Forwarder, plus Commercial & Logistics activities in the Defence and Commercial sectors, specialising in Export Control matters.

For the past fourteen years, Bob has developed a niche role in providing Export Controls Awareness Training, tailored Health Check workshops and Consultancy, to organisations both large and small in most industrial sectors in the UK and overseas. Firstly with Deltac Export Control Consultants and, through acquisition, with Vastera, premier providers of web based Global Trade Management Solutions.

Bob is also active with the 'EGAD' Export Group for Aerospace & Defence Export Controls. Areas of past commercial experience include encryption, electronics & defence products.

Bob enjoys participation with a host of contacts and plays a key role in tailoring training, compliance, help-desk and consulting programmes.
